-Fix the overexposure problem in bright sunlight.
-Fix the dim-lighting defocusing issue. Though mine (inexplicably)
only did this the first night I used it, blew focus on each shot but
it hasn't recurred. My advice is to use the centre focus point and
focus on specular highlights, lights, etc.
-Speed up the focusing a bit. Dpreview was right, the old screw-
driven D lenses are nearly as fast as the S lenses, and neither is
blazing. Except the high-end FX lenses.
-Eliminate the position of the little rubber door on the bottom of the
grip, which can come open by accidental touch.
-Put a lock on the protruding mode dial, it keeps changing position on
mild bumps.
-Stop-down preview button should be stiffer to prevent actuation by
accident.

Other than that, the camera works well and produces good images.

Is this a first? Rich making an accurate criticism - that little rubber
door is pretty annoying.

Poor Rich, who apparently believes that anyone who doesn't share his
multiple disorders "has their head buried in sand".

"I am an sales droid for a cam-er-a store, I do as I am comm-and-ED by
the glorious Nikon (and Canon)!"
"Nikon spiffs me $20.00 for each D5000 I sell."
