Seems that about half the time I open Firefox 3.x it goes into OFFLINE
mode all by itself. I am online at the time and then I get an error
message when I click on a link such as google (I have a html file with
links that loads when I open any browser, and it's on my own hard
drive). I never use Offline Mode. Why is FF3 doing this? FF2 and
earlier versions never did this.

More of a "mozilla.support.firefox" question, but I doubt anyone knows for sure,
since the problem has been around for a loooooong time. Mine does it too.
