The below is an old post, about 2 weeks old. but everything else remains the same.
This only started today.
Ok so in the morning i have no school playing sc2 with friends e.t.c then all of a sudden my screen flashes a shade of red, freezes and returns to its normal colour. It will not unfreeze, i try everything until i eventually force shutdown via the hold down button. Ok now this re-occurs throughout the day and later i get a message saying "your graphics drive is out of date" i go to update it and i cannot, because "your graphic drivers are up to date" so of course i try again, this time on the lowest graphics settings, still it shuts down after 10 or 15 minutes and now when i try and restart it it doesn't start and makes a whirring noise (above normal). When i eventually do get it to start it is by removing the power wire and the battery, and even then it is unpredictable.

Edit: Specs are: 4ghz ram, 512 dedicated Ati radon 4350. Dual core amd processer 2.3ghz, and windows 7 home premium 64bit.
Screen: Backlit Led screen, which was recently replaced/repaired after being cracked (im not sure which)
