Is it a 2007FPb? (I typo'd the subject) If so I was under the impression
that the serials only ended in 'L' or 'S'.

Yeah, because display port and HDCP are so useful on a computer screen.

They already are insanely high, and their stupid bid incriments dont
help when they put up boxes of crap that are worth $5 tops.

There is a nasty piece of legislation called the consumer guarantees act
that makes places like that have massive headaches when they sell to
clueless retarded consumers, so its easier to go business only and put
on the sale agreement that they are for resale so not subject to the CGA.

Heh, if they ever make a monitor like that a lot of WOW gamers would
never leave their mothers' basements..

Yeah, I was going to mention that in my original reply, that it's (largely)
the CGA that's responsible for a lot of business' only selling to other
business'. However there's also the fact that most of them just don't have
the staff to deal with hundreds of single sales as opposed to a smaller
number of bulk buys.

BTW, I'm still very pleased with my 'new' 2007FPb 'L', despite the fact that
the displayport input is missing (I can't even find the hole where it's
supposed to be?) and DVI does not carry HDCP. I don't need no steeking DRM
interfaces on my computer monitor anyway <shrug>.
