Title: Sr. SQL DBA

Location: Boca raton, FL

Duration: 6 Months.

Description:

The Sr. DBA ensures systems integration through data design, designs,
implements and maintains complex databases, demonstrates expert
understanding of database performance tuning, data backup, recovery
and security processes/ procedures, as well as maintains
responsibility for ensuring the integrity and successful recovery of
data.

- 5+ years Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000, 2005, 2008 DBA experience, in
a production environment required.

- 2+ years Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000, 2005, 2008 DBA experience
with: Standby Databases and Clustering required.
- Windows Clustering – Support active/active and active/passive
clusters. Manage cluster resources and troubleshoot errors.

- Create and maintain standby databases and/or log-shipping.
Participate in planning and execution of recovery activities.

Responsibilities:

- Supports application development teams by recognizing and evaluating
database issues and implementing solutions.
