The smallest land mammal, the pygmy shrew, lives to be about fifteen
months old. The largest land mammal lives to an age in excess of one
hundred years. I read somewhere, many years ago, that the hearts of all
land mammals, if the animals are allowed to die of old age (not preyed
upon or shot by poachers or whatever) will have beaten the same number of
times (roughly) during its life.

After that, I gave up running.

Snapple.

If you want to live longer, get married.

****ed if I can remember, but it made an impression. It may have been a
David Attenborough documentary- in fact, I think it was. (BTW I have no
idea what 'Snapple' is)

The theme song of M*A*S*H says so.

Snapple is the trade mark for a company that bottles blended
fruit juices. The inside of the bottle cap has pithy "Fun Facts"
such as "A duck's quack doesn't echo."
