RegisterClientScriptBlock Prblen

I have used RegisterClientScriptBlock to emit Client side script in my ASP.NET page. It works well.
But I dont want the script to be emitted when postbacks. But it emits the script even if I dont call the RegisterClientScriptBlock
how to prevent it?
