Hi. Please can you help me.
I have a home network that works using my Dell router connected to my desktop PC with a cable. My laptop can wirelessly connect to my router and desktop PC fine and so does the desktop. I have now fitted a wireless adapter card into my desktop as I would like to be able to move it away from the router into another room. I now get a small icon on the system tray showing the wireless network connection but it says no wireless networks were found in range. I have tried setting up the network again using windows but it does not work. Any suggestions please I am running XP SP2 on both machines and the router and the adapter are both 802.11g Thanks Bruce Broooz |

If you are not broadcasting your SSID, the network may not be seen. Try
either turning on the SSID broadcast or setting up a profile using it and the necessary settings. Your web page was helpful, although it turns out that the adapter was faulty and a new one sorted it - not that easy to spot though! |
