Hi
Log to Control Panel/Network Connection.
Right click on the local area connection, make sure that the box at the
bottom is checked.

Hi
I do not know exactly which type of connection you are using as an active
connection, it might be that you have some 3rd party utility that runs the
Wireless and displays an Icon, and it needs to be reconfigured. In the
native Windows Network the icon is associated with the Wireless and or the
Wire NIC connections.

Hi
It is Not a matter of missing Icon The tray does not cache icons per-se. If
whatever connection/application that this Icon was related to, is not On,
and Not configured to show the Icon, there will Not be an icon in the
traybar.
