I realize that there are several products available for generating PDF from
HTML,etc.
Does anyone know of one that can generate an index also.

Client would like a website with their products be able to generate a
printable PDF catalog with an index at the end so a product or product
category could be looked up to find what pages the item is on.

Creating an index is a difficult thing to do properly, so requires
specialised software along with human intervention.

You could use something like http://www.html-indexer.com/ to create an
index of your HTML, then convert it to PDF.

Thanks, that is why I posted here for suggestions. I have done similar in
Word, but Word is not a valid option for a web application.
