i have a 48 port catalyst 2960 im using 30 ports. bust when i run the Show mac-address-table command i only get about 15 entries. why is that? is there anything i can do so it can display all the mac addresses, or is there a command i can run to check the information on each port individually?

Thanks in advance.

Actually, you have to see all mac-addresses which the switch has learned, using the show mac address-table.

The MAC addresses will not show, if there is no traffic for the specific port. Also, you can check if the ports are up...
