They are two different kinds of programs. Ad-Aware looks for, well,
advertisement stuff. MalwareBytes looks for real malware.

If Ad-Aware is giving you problems, uninstall it. I think it has
outlived its usefulness.

Look into SUPERAntiSpyware as well.
