Help with an AV Grabber

My machine is a Dell XS M1210 [which is working just fine - about 2006
vintage with XP] with a built in Logitec Quickcam.

I recently purchased an STLab AV Grabber to covert all those old family VHS
tapes to DVDs [before they all disappear]. However when I goes to capture an
old VHS tape the Logitec Quickcam also seems to wish to be captured as
well - creating a loud 'feed back' sound as for some speakers.

Can I somehow turn off the Logitec Quickcam?

Any suggestions would be most welcomed - as I'm stuck.

Thanks in advance.

Go to 'Device Manager' and disable the webcam.

As in right-click 'My Computer', click 'Properties', then the tab
'Hardware'. There is a button on that labeled 'Device Manager'. Once you
click that you will see a new window and you should be able to see the
camera in there. Right click it and select 'Disable'.
