I seem to recall that if a phone loses contact
with the Call Manager (or other SCCP provider)
it reboots itself and continues to reboot itself
until communications is re-established.

If the phone is just wandering off into space
and recovers when powered on and off
I would check the phone firmware version
first. Also maybe switch software too.
Maybe search for on-line power related bugs?

I guess your log above represents -

Nov 5 09:34:42.174 -- Phone mysteriously goes off

Nov 5 09:51:11.994 -- Phone manually disconnected
from switch and reconnected.

I assume that the phones do not have a seperate PSU?

No they dont have a separate PSU, they connected to a cisco VOIP switch. all
phones receive updates as soon as you connect them to the switch, so I am
not sure what else to do regarding updates?

Any other thoughts?
Rob
