The project is called RMS, which is Remote Management System. They are
developing two apps that will allow BC to remotely troubleshoot
equipment installed at client sites. One is a Java/J2EE app that
resides on the equipment; it has no UI but communicates with the
second app which is the Java/J2EE WebLogic Portal app used by the BC
tech.


Must be proficient with J2EE development on the WebLogic Platform
including WebLogic Portal (WebLogic Portal 9,10 experience required).

Knowledge must include: JSP, Servlets, Message-Driven Beans, CMP/BMP
Entity Beans, Stateful/Stateless Session Beans, XML, Ant, JUnit, JPF,
Workshop Controls, Interportlet communication, Portal Look-and-Feel
(skins, skeletons, layouts, shells, themes, desktops, pages,etc.),
Entitlements, UUP, SQL, Internationalization, Web services.

The following knowledge areas would be a plus: AJAX, Java Applets,
DHTML/DOM, WLI, JMX, public/private key encryption, digital
signatures, SSL Certificates

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Description of Duties -

Code/develop applications to program specifications by:

Grasping the functional requirements and understanding the detailed
application design.

Adhering to agreed time frames.

Meeting agreed standards and best practices.

Write unit test code, using tools and writing test cases.

Support deployed solutions (debugging and fixing problems)

Participate in analyzing customer requirements and reviewing code.
