I am by far from a linux master, But you get to know how to solve
issues and know what needs to be used and done almost by second nature
after doing enough with linux. On a simpleton
level of understanding anyway.

Without a doubt I would call PcLinux the everything distribution,
after using maybe a hundred or
more distributions through the years. I knew it was right when it's
first test release came out.

I will tell others that I like(d).

Kate, nimblex*, goblin, sabayon*, mepis*, berry* dream, xos*

*are the more favored ones. XOS and sabayon are really cool. Nimblex I
believe is a deb based as is dream and I would choose that over the
buntu distros.

Desktop BSD is nice but never got the 'easy' BSDs to work well enough
to stick with them.
