Default 5 ways linux shoots itself in the foot with the desktop

five_ways_the_linux_desktop_shoots_itself_in_the_f oot

He lies about new users not having to ever use a shell but the rest is
pretty frank & damning coming from that linux advocate and now that linus
sees the desktop as a huge unwanted drain of resources ..

The reply from Michael Nelson at the bottom is interesting read to.

http://blogs.computerworld.com/14911..._in_the_f oot

Steven J. Vaughan is a nixophiliac favorite who gets paid to make
open-souce mediocrity look...well, ok. So his pointed criticisms of the nix
fanboy club is interesting.
