SpywareStop(formally SpywareBot) has mysteriously appeared on my pc...shows
my pc to be infected with loads of spyware and asks I Register and pay for a program to get rid of this spyware. What I'd like to do however is remove this SpywareStop software from my computer. A quick glance on line seems to confirm that SpywareStop may be difficult to remove. How best to do this - as simply and inexpensively as poss? Thanks. jsmith |

Doesn't appear to be that difficult if you are not afraid to edit the Registry. If that is the case dl, install, UPDATE and then run one or both of the following two free programs: MBAM (MalwareBytes-AntiMalware) 1)http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam/program/mbam-setup.exe SAS (SuperAntiSpyware) 2)http://www.superantispyware.com/supe...refreevspro.ht Neither one will ask you to pay to remove anything they find and they are excellent programs. Horrendous source of malware and AFAIK most users don't have a clue it's true. You'd almost think they have the impression that the web is perfectly safe. -- (setq (chuck nil) car(chuck) ) chuckcar |
