Default Burning an AVI file onto a DVD

I have the 1999 movie "Titanic" on my USB (stand-alone AVI file). I'd
like to burn it onto a DVD so I can watch it on TV when I feel like it.
How do I burn the movie onto a DVD? I'd like a concise article, not on
professional quality DVD authoring etc.

If your DVD player can play AVI files then you only have to burn
a DVD disc with your AVI file and then play it on your DVD player

If you want to convert your AVI file into a "real" DVD movie then
you can use DeVeDe, DVDStyler, DVD Flick or ConvertXtoDVD
and then use ImgBurn to burn the DVD files to a DVD disc.

You (I do) can burn avis to a dvd as data. Your dvd player must be
compatible, as all Phillips players seem to be now.
I use ConvertXtoDVD to change the avi file to dvd format.
