Am I to understand you want to install XP onto a windows 98 computer?
If that's the case forget it. You don't have enough ram along with the
virtual impossibility of getting drivers for XP. The restore disk you get
*will* work if you use *only* the original hardware - that's *nothing* is
PCMCIA/firewire/usb that isn't *sold* as part of the computer. The restore
disk will install windows 98 as well unless you can show me that some
other OS came on the computer originally.
