What's the problem?

Are you worried it may play "Dimdows über alles?"

You could always write a script to play "Linus Torvalds über alles"
for Linux users

It's spoof. If you follow the link provided it takes you to a civil
engineering site. It also appears to be a genuine Microsoft page.

Cheers,

The Internet is interesting in that although the nicknames may change,
the same old personalities show through.

Not a spoof. Some old Award BIOSes used to play music to indicate an error.
IIRC you could even change the tune.

It is you who seem to believe this has something to do with "Dimdows", not
I.

No, they didn't. Check the date, a couple of days before April 1st.
Check the link, which goes to a construction firm.

It wouldn't be the first time that a practical joke has 'propogated'
across the Internet.
