Modem and wired router in roommates room with his PC. My PC is wired from my roomates wired router into my room. I want to buy a laptop and be wireless but my roomate does not want any wireless routers in his room.

Is it possible to install a wireless router in my room connected to the wire coming from my roommates wired router?

Basically it is my roommates house and he has some fear of having wireless near him, so I want to setup wireless without any disruptions to his current setup. Any way around this? How can I keep a wireless router in my room but the modem is in his room?
