I hadnt been in the newsgroups for quite awhile so i launched my
mt-newswatcher and alt.binaries is not there any more. i thought my
newsserver might be censoring the groups but there are other adult
newsgroups listed. does anyone know whats up?

Where? In a list of favorites? In a list of subscribed groups?

I dont subscribe to any groups or have a list of favorites, i just go to
the servers list of groups and select alt.binaries, except its just
gone, but if i check other alt groups there are still some with adult
content so i doubt if its censorship

Your ISP dropped all binary groups about a year ago. You may thank the
New York State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo for giving them the excuse
they've been looking for for many years.

Assuming that you haven't screwed up something in your news client,
that's entirely between you and your news provider.

Sorry, I don't do binaries. Maybe Google can find something for you.

You could get a paid ng or pay 3.95 for a one time fee to teranews and
get free binaries for life.

Charter still has newsgroups, suprised me. I got Charter internet as
Clearwire internet is not for games.

On a chance I tried the newsgroups - I've got em all. I still use
Individual.net (text only) for my posting.

I love Agent, one downloads from Charter, the other post this message

Steve < has a point, if you were the only one using
the groups in question, they might of stopped carrying them.

Might ask the IP the you want your group back, while it might work,
it's kinda embarrassing asking someone to carry:
