I am using a Wayport Wireless Adapter on my Windows XP Pro machine. The unit was given to me by a friend of mine and it works perfectly with my Linksys Router so long as I turn off WEP encryption. In addition the Network Connection Folder does not display any "Wireless Connections". I believe that is because this unit does not have a Windows XP Pro Driver. Also since it connects to the computer via both Ethernet cable and USB cable, that may be the reason. I don't know. My friend also uses the same units with Win XP with no problems. Does anyone know anything about this Wayport Wireless Adapter? It looks about the same size as a Linksys unit. Anyone using this unit that may have a driver for it, I would appreciate hearing from them.
