For most Linksys routers: - Open your browser and enter 192.168.1.1 for the address - On the router login screen, leave the username blank and enter "admin" (without quotes) as the password. - Click on the "Wireless" tab and then on the "Wireless Security" tab. - Your encryption key should be shown in clear text. If not, just enter a new password and click "Save settings." -- Lem -- MS-MVP To the moon and back with 2K words of RAM and 36K words of ROM. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apollo_Guidance_Computer http://history.nasa.gov/afj/compessay.htm Lem |

Meaning there is no custom changes, no passwords, no wireless setup etc. Nothing. The wired connections will work, and you use that to connect as Lem said above to setup the wireless with a new key phrase. Then set that key phrase in the laptop. Remember, the reset removes all custom settings in the router and should be used only as a last recourse. Big_Al |
