Hanging when first start ASP.NET web

I have very big asp.net project that contains multiple assemblies (40MB).
When first browsing to any page after IISRESET, ASPNET_WP.EXE will start up
and do something until it consumes around 25MB then it will stop for 30-40
seconds before loading the rest of the assemblies into the system. I noticed
it when I first upgraded to .NET 1.1. Any idea?
