Connecting older laptop to network

Posts: n/a
I have a Gateway Laptop that runs Windows 2000 Professional that I need to
connect to my home network. My pc is running XP. I have the router and can
connect to the internet, but can't seem to figure out how to connect to my
pc, and share the printer and files. Can anyone tell me how to do this?
