But surely you do see the inference, no?

The time I referred to was when Obanana had Gordon Brown (prostrate on his
arm) [sic] whilst comfortably addressing an audience of journalists. It was
in fact just yesterday.

It could only be rhetorical if I were to dismiss any alternative possibility
and assumed my obtuse and yet convenient interpretation of the event to be
the one and only, whilst taking everything out of context; But I am making a
point.

See above. Where are you? Perhaps you never got the feed, although unlikely
you would have been excluded if in the US

Buffalo,

No, the question really is "where would the USA be now if it wasn't for
*Great* *Britain* , France, Italy, Ireland, Russia, China, Sweden, Holland
and the rest of the world et al"? A bloody great **** hole of a place!

Remember, these are the countries that founded America and supplied the
skills to build Middle America into the USA (and don't forget the US is only
one third of of the American continent, and only a small part of the world -
but is the biggest bully in the world, and was only held in check by the old
USSR (and once China gets her arse into gear and then US of A will certainly
have its work cut out trying to control her) so don't fool yourself into
thinking that "you're the greatest" to paraphrase Ali (Clay).

Remember - that the good ol' land of the free, has funded many attempts by
rebels and dissidents to overthrow other countries in the world - try parts
of South America and Cuba just for starters! So the hands of the USA are
not really that clean - are they?

Remember also - that more wars, torture and death have been caused as a
result of religion than any other - and is still doing so! So if religion
died out, then perhaps there would be a greater peace in the world.

As for the world economy - the greed of American bankers and the lack of
control of said bankers by the USA governments caused the collapse of the
world economy.

The list is endless.

I would have to see it in context, and stop calling me Shirley.

I didn't see it. Of course I wasn't looking for it either.

If a question is rhetorical, by definition it neither expects nor
requires an answer.

Sheesh!
