Windows easy transfer Vista to XP

I'm freaking out a bit here. I used Windows Easy Transfer to backup my
files on my external hard drive, now I cannot get them on XP. I download
Windows Easy Transfer here on XP, but its from Old -> New. Not what i
need. I REALLY need these files..
