Two of the three exams you'll need are 70-620 & 70-622... I am speculating
that the third is 70-623, but I did not look it up. I took the beta upgrade
exam for MCITP (I took 620 & 622 too) but won't know the results for some
time. I hate waiting... I have three beta exams that I am waiting on
results for.

Good luck!

If you go the full Vista route, then it's what Montreal MCT said, it the
70-620, 70-622 & 70-623 (this has to be confirmed, the 70-623 is still in
beta).

However I would recommend the upgrade path, this is so you'll be certified
in XP as well as Vista, this route goes: 70-271, 70-272 & 70-621 (this one is
the upgade exam).

If you do the upgrade route you'll get the MCDST, MCTS and MCITP status, if
you do the full Vista route you'll get the MCTS and the MCITP status (one in
Enterprise Support, one in Consumer support).

The choose is yours...

Hope this helps

Seems like the upgrade route is a no brainer; exams 70-271, 70-272 & 70-621
are the ones with the most benefit (three certs for three exams); thank you
for your assistance.

Hi Jonathan

I don't know about Mark, but this was my route MCSA -> MCDST -> MCSE. Even
though I already had the MCSA I went for the MCDST, I guess it was for
several reasons: 1. To get another cert & 2. To actually broaden my knowledge
base.

The MCDST & MCSE covers different areas and I wanted to make sure that I had
the basic's covered. I didn't want to to say "oh yes" I'm a MCSE but turn up
to a private job and not be able to configure Outlook Express properly (at
work we use Office 2003/2007), etc...

I guess after typing this I'm also interested in other peoples stories, in
why they decide to do the MCDST after completing the MCSA/MCSE
