The title "Microsoft Certified Professional", in addition to referring to a
collection of certifications on older products, is now also a generic title
that refers to all persons who have passed any one exam in any of the
several and various Microsoft certification programs.
When you passed the 70-536 you completed one of two requirements for one of
three different MCTS certifications:
• Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: .NET Framework 2.0 Web
Applications
• Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: .NET Framework 2.0 Windows
Applications
• Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: .NET Framework 2.0 Distributed
Applications
When you passed the 70-540 you completed one of =one= requirement for a
completely different MCTS certification:•
• Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 - Application Development
If you were to follow the hyperlinked "Microsoft Certified Professional" in
that cite from the 70-540 page, you'd end up at
http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/mcp/default.mspx
which is the Home Page of the entire Microsoft Certification program.
