Default OT: Certifications... Worth it?

Here is a good article by Jennifer Waters concerning the question that
circulates these newsgroups. Are certifications worth it?

IT Certifications are worthless without experience. Knowledge is power.
Certification is paper. Also I've decided to amend my signature to more
easily blend in with the new look of the NG's.

Probably. He's an MCT so he can give it out. It's a good deal.

I wouldn't have put it there if it weren't true.

I got your point concerning the sig. To me, the discount code was the
only relevant information in it!

Feel free to share. And I'm glad you got the point with my sig, but that
wasn't the only relevant data you know. Stupid Laws are very important too.
