One of the laptops on my wireless network drops it's connection and then
after a minute or so connects itself. Its all random, intermittant stuff. I
use Windows to manage my wireless conections. Is there a log file somewhere
that tells me what is going on, or what is the error, or what is causing the
drop?

In many cases, this could be a firmware or driver issue. Have you checked if
there is a new firmware for the router and driver for the NIC?
