The hag has no claim as she more than likely has not attended hospital to
declare her condition. You should make inquiries with the police to
establish if the 'hag' reported such injuries at the time, close to the time
of the incident, or in a reasonable and timely fashion; If she didn't, the
'hag' is ****ed and up the river without a paddle.

Speak FIRST to the previous insurer for advice, it'll cost you nothing as it
is being purported to have occurred whilst they were the insurers - they are
obliged to see through any claims for the period (expired or not - current
or retrospective), but that does not mean they are obliged to pay out; but
then, there is no claim, eh? ;->

That'll be a grand.

Make no assumptions. Don't talk to the other party or their lawyer. Direct
all contact (including the letter) to the insurance carrier in force at the
time of the accident.
