Is this the Gateway model you found?
http://www.compusa.com/applications/...?Sku=G180-1009
It is spectacularly well specified and future-proofed for the price you
found it at. It's end of range, so discounted - it's a bargain!
Including the 1.5tb HDD (Which is 2 x 750gb SATA drives) and
Blu-ray burner and plenty of RAM you listed, it has a very good
graphics card - NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT PCI-Express with it's
own dedicated 512mb of memory, 2 x DVI, and the sonics are
supplied by a Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi soundcard.
Of the 4 PCI Express slots, two in use and two available for
expansion (Thats future-proofing).
Just read it's spec's, and Gateway are established.
Why are you asking the numbskulls of this group and reading
dopey "buyers" reviews at NewEgg, Buy it!
