Is 32-bit driver possible on 64-bit Windows XP

Hi folks,

I've got a question. On my Windows XP (32-bit) machine I have a D-Link
Wi-Fi USB-adapter (DWA-142) installed which works just fine using D-
Link driver. I am going to move to a 64-bit Windows XP soon but there
is a problem because D-Link does not provide 64-bit version of the
driver for the device. I tried to use 32-bit driver inside 64-bit
Windows XP and it failed. Does anyone know the way how to resolve the
issue? (For instance: Is there any 64-bit wrapper on Windows for 32-
bit drivers or anything else?)

Thanks.

Hi
The general "Trick" in issues like this is to find out who makes the chipset
of the device and then log to the Chipset manufacturer support and download
the latest driver that is available for your OS.

Are you sure they don't have 64-bit drivers?
They could not pass the Microsoft certification without
providing the x64 driver.

Yes, I am quite sure of the fact that a vendor (D-Link) does not
provide drivers for DWA-142 on Windows XP 64-bit Edition.
