extracting cached SMB credentials off of a Windows HDD

Per <http://www.nabble.com/Remove-old-password-in-Windows-
td20313774.html>, Windows caches SMB credentials by default. My
question is... if you had a hard drive that you pulled from a
computer, could the cached SMB credentials (assuming there were any)
be extracted and then given to another computer?
