Notebook Screen
I am hoping some other IT Pros can help me I am stumped.
Customer brought in a notebook, all MSI parts MSI built says screen will not come on. They were using it and the screen got progressively darker till now nothing shows up on it. I turn the computer on and I hear the POST but I cannot get anything on the screen. I was pretty sure it was the power inverter in the screen so I put a new one in and it did not change a thing. my next thought is maybe the bulbs went out, and on that note order a new screen and call it a day. Any ideas to what is the problem? Chuckie |

Sounds like the backlight is out. I replaced a lot of those (mostly Sony Vaios). They cost about
$10.
