Here's the setup: I have two PCs in a workgroup which I'll call A & B.
A is running Windows XP Home SP2 and has a shared folder that contains a series of subfolders that are junction points. B is running Windows 2000 (no service pack specified). B can access the shared folder, and *some* of the junction folders inside it, but trying to open other junction folders generate an "Access Denied" message. What could be causing this? What would cause computer B to be able to access the shared folder on computer A and *some* of its junction point subfolders, but not others? (All the target folders the junction points point to are on the same partition on A, if that makes a difference.) Dave Dave Hardenbrook |
