I just started having the following problem. When I go to some frequently
visited sites that require a username and password, I check the remember me button to set a cookie so I don't have to keep typing in my username and password everytime I visit the site. Just yesterday, whenever I close the browser and re-open the browser and visit the site, I have to re-type in my password. Initially I thought it might be a problem with the site itself, but it is happening with multiple websites I visit, not jsut one. I had run an update on a software package and thought that something in the browser settings got changed are messed up. Not sure what is causing this? Any help is appreciated. I'm using IE 6.0 and Windows 2000 Pro. -D- |
