RE: Software and Hardware for those without College Degrees

How many of you have avoided the certification exams for years since
you thought they were a marketing ploy in 1995 and now you are forced to
take them because
your 25,000 hour+ experience (without a University Degree) is not as valid
as a 500
hour equivalent certificate? For those that now have certification, has it
made a difference in your job
