ECP Half-duplex or Full-Duplex?

Hello, I was reading Faster, Smarter A+ by Drew Bird published 2004.
He says that ECP is "2-way simultaneous Full Duplex..." while EPP is
half-duplex. I've read other books that refer to ECP & EPP as both
half-duplex.

Does anyone know if ECP (Extended Capabilities Port) is full or half
duplex?
I hate it when my reference sources contradict each other.

Thanks,
DigitalSierra
