Have a client that has Win XP Pro installed.

Have installed a modem, (Old Serial 56K) driver is fine and responds
correctly to diagnostics.

When go to create an internet connection we are unable. Only connection
available is always on line ADSL. Dial up is greyed out.

Have checked what compenets that are installed against a machine that is
working, als checked all services that are running.

Any suggestions please??

Go to the manufacturers site and download a better driver. If it is an
older one and your choice is w98 or NT, go with the NT driver.
