I'm running Win2K professional. I have two hard drives installed (master &
slave), a CD-ROM drive and CD Burner drive. Totalling 4 ATA drives. I'm not certain, but can I add an additional hard drive using a PCI Ultra ATA controller card? I have a 160GB Western Digital 7200RPM drive with the Ultra ATA Controller card. I thought the motherboard can only support a total of 4 ATA devices, but wasn't sure if you add another controller card? Would I be able to do this or do I have to remove one of the current ATA devices, like the CD-ROM drive? Any help is appreciated. Thanks. -D- -D- |

Thanks for the help and the heads up! I'll give it a try and see how
everything works. I just wasn't sure if the board would support beyond the 4 drives, but glad to know it can. That will be a big help. -D- "JBS" <> wrote in message news:JTpBb.7623$ ink.net... > Yes.
