Hello! Some questions

Hey everybody, I'm new to the forum here. I'm taking an A+ cert class
at my highschool and along with that in the process of reading the
Mike Meyers A+ book. I'm quite determined to get this certification!
I'm kind of thinking about starting my own business, but I'm not
quite sure what I should do. Right now I'm pretty much getting
customers from my school and some people around town, but what would
be a good way to promote my "services" ?
Also for computer tune ups, do they primarily consist of using a can
of air to clean out dust from the computer, installing and running
some simple programs like adaware and spybot then running defrag?
I'm definetly not an experienced tech but I do know enough and I'm
sure I'll be able to pass the A+ cert in the next month or so.
Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
-Andy

Good luck with the tests! I would recommend getting
a job at Best Buy or one of the hole-in-the-wall type
computer places first. Just because running your own
business is an endeavor on it's own. Once you get 5
years of experience or so, then you could really start
your own shop and kick butt, because you could focus more
on the business end of it and less on the technical aspects.
