I remember there is a way to find the size of a hard drive by knowing
the number of cylinders, heads and secters, but forget the formula for
this. Can anyone help me to find the size of this hard drive? 2477 Cyl,
16 Hds, 63 sect. If you could post the formula also that would be
appreciated

Thanks,
Gary

A sector is 512 bytes. So 2477 x 16 x 63 = 2,496,816 total sectors of
512 bytes each, or 1,278,369,792 bytes. Or, in common parlance, it's a
1.2 gig hard drive.
