Is Network+ along with A+ certification really necessary?
In other words, just how important is Network+ to employers?
Would MCP be the way to go after A+?

i'd recommend:
A+ first
then Net+
these two count towards the mcsa (half of an mcse)
then do your mcp's....
get the mcse
then cisco....

personally, i think all the certs in the world mean **** without real
expirience and all the expirience in the world means **** if your not a
simple lateral thinker.

in the case of a good tech with some good years under his belt, getting the
A+ and Net+ is just a shell out with the cash... still the extra characters
after your name may be the difference in getting the job or not.

regard darren
