I use Cryptainer to create a virtual drive which requires a password
to access. On that drive I have my password/site list and other docs I
don't wish to share.

It can password protect and secure any file or folder on any media,
including removable drives (Flash Drives, CD ROM's etc.)

Cryptainer LE is free with 128 bit encryption, limited to 25Mb per
folder.

Why not use truecrypt? 256 bit, no size limit that I'm aware of..

Because I'm behind the times on encryption. I meant to add that my
suggestion was really only a concept and that there are many other
options. Thanks for the tip!
