I plan to take more certifications. which one is better, MCSA or to take A+
actually im not really in the IT industry I am an Electronics Engineer that

The MSCA will be of more value to you than the A+ cert will. Even though you
don't want to take your co-workers job, you never know what could happen.

Hi Rask,

Firstly congratulations on obtaining your MCDST! It is always exciting when
you get a new cert. I actually passed 70-272 today to add MCDST to my
repertoire, so we rock!

I agree with K Kaylor that MCSA is of more benefit that A+. I have never
gone for it for the simple reason that I have always seen A+ as a stepping
stone: you either finish school or change careers and have to prove to
prospective employees that you know something, so you get A+. MCSA on the
other hand is a real commitment, and in studying for it not only will you
learn a great deal, but the cert is a lot more meaningful to a lot more
people.

Good luck and let us know what you decide!
