Config :
Asus Laptop with Centrino b/g processor. AP : Belkin 7230/4 Win XP with SP2 No problem with the connection when my AC current is plugged in. But when I go to battery the laptop is not getting an IP. Am I missing something ? I have a Fujitsu as well with a Pent.4 processor and an external Wireless card, and this works both on AC as on battery. Stef S t e f |

Is the Wireless NIC in the laptop configured to power off when on battery?
Check Device Manager... Does the laptop have a custom Power Management program. You may need to check that too. - Tim "S t e f" <> wrote in message news:Xns965F5DE882086stefaandbnospamvt4ne@195.130. 132.70... > Config : > Asus Laptop with Centrino b/g processor. > AP : Belkin 7230/4 > Win XP with SP2 > > No problem with the connection when my AC current is plugged in.
